Stonebridge — National Portfolio Auction

Stonebridge's National Portfolio takes a collection of Australia's finest freestanding investments to auction in a single session — rooms running simultaneously in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, buyers on the phone from everywhere else, and a live feed of the auctioneer going out to every city in real time. It happens once. There is no second take.

We developed the creative with the team at Studio Eleven and shot for a day at Capella Sydney, starting with the welcome breakfast before the doors opened onto the main auction room. The brief was to capture the energy of the auction without stopping at spectacle — to show the engagement, and the dozen agents working the room with laser focus, phones to both ears, chasing the best outcome for everyone in play.

The whole day was covered by one operator running four cameras positioned around the room — a wide holding the space, a long lens on the auctioneer, one on the bidders, one on the agents — while shooting stills simultaneously on a fifth in hand. Small footprint, no interruptions, and the auction proceeded exactly as it would have if we had never been there.

From that single session we delivered a 90-second master, vertical social cutdowns and a full library of high resolution photography — enough to feed Stonebridge's marketing pipeline for the next twelve months, with a great deal of the material still untouched.
